THE ARTIST

Hi! I’m Manolia, and I’m a Boston-based artist with a degree in Studio Art from Boston College. My work moves between digital art, mixed media, collage, and abstract painting—depending on my moods. My creative process is driven by experimentation, and a fascination of our eternal world and fragmented identity.

Much of my recent work centers on the idea of multiplicity—the shifting, overlapping versions of self that emerge through memory, growth, and time. My senior project was a reflection on the fear of growing up and the ache that comes with letting go. I am drawn to the idea that we are not just singular beings, but a combination of all our past selves and I seek to explore how one version of the self intertwines with another. Who we were, who we are and who we have yet to become all seem to be connected.
